WHAT IS THE SOFTNESS SCALE?
This is based on the softness of the fiber used in the product. 1 – rough and for some individuals will be uncomfortable next to skin, 2 – moderately soft and comfortable next to skin and 3 – very soft and comfortable next to skin.
WHAT IS THE DRAPE SCALE?
Drape is generally based on the density of the weave. Structured: item will hold it’s shape when worn. Moderate: item is flexible and folds easily when worn. Excellent: items will flow and fold with ease for that items fabric weight.

WHAT ARE THE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS?
All items care instructions are noted below. Please review the tag on the item for correct instructions. If your tag is missing, please contact us with information on the item and we’ll provide the correct care instructions.
Hand washing
Wash each item separately.
Fill clean vessel with cool water (not freezing, warm or hot) and add a wool wash (such as Woolite). Submerge the item gently and swish around to evenly distribute soap (do not agitate, rub or wring).
Let soak for up to 30 minutes.
In the same temperature water gently rinse well until the item is no longer soapy.
Do not wring, instead gently press water out of the item. Lay flat and reshape on a towel, roll up in towel and press. Lay flat to dry in original shape on clean dry towel.

Dry Clean Only
Item needs to be professionally dry cleaned.
STORAGE, PILLING & ADDITIONAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Storage
Once cleaned and dry, fold item and store in a breathable canvas/cotton bag with zip closure in a cool dry environment away from sunlight or heat source.

Pilling
For natural fibers some pilling is normal. To best care for your item it is recommended to use a wool comb to remove fuzz or bobbles. For loose woven items remove bobbles by hand with care.

What to avoid for your handmade item
Do not use hot water on item
Do not use fabric softener or bleach
Do not hang dry or use the dryer
Do not dry in direct sunlight or near heat source
Do not dry clean unless care tag states otherwise
Do not store in plastic as this can cause some fibers to yellow and can trap mildew causing moisture.
