Shop Policies

OUR SHIPPING POLICY

Orders will be processed within 1-3 business days of receipt of payment unless stated otherwise.* Shipping rates vary according to destination and order value/weight, shipping cost will be identified at checkout. If shipping costs are less you will be refunded the difference. All shipments are sent fully insured and tracked with signature required, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes. Once item is shipped transit time will be 3-14 days.**

If you receive delivery notification but no delivery has been made, or are unfortunate to receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately so we may assist with a remedy. With any delivery we do advise that you check the good as soon as possible upon arrival. We can accept no liability for costs incurred by late deliveries. If you refuse a delivery for damage or other reasons, please notify us immediately.

Currently Hillary's Threads is able to ship to the UK and United States. Please sign up for shop updates as shipping to other areas expands.

*In the unfortunate event of an order processing delay, you will be notified at checkout or by email. Current delays include shipping of all orders in the first week of January.

**All items will be shipped as quickly as possible, please note carrier delays are beyond our control.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

We hope you are happy with your purchase, if not please contact us and note the following return policy.

Products can be returned within 14 days of receipt of the goods. To exercise your right to cancel you must provide written notification within 14 days of receipt of the product and return the goods in the same condition as they were sent out, including original packaging. Product must be received by seller within 14 days of notification of return. The cost of the return postage is your responsibility.

Refund will be issued the cost of the product to your original payment method. For the UK, standard shipping rates will be refunded to your original payment method, expedited or customer requested shipping method is not eligible for refund. Shipping fees are not eligible for returns for all other shipping destinations outside of the UK. Refund will be processed once product has been received and inspected for condition within 14 days of receipt by the seller.

Please ensure that you wrap the package securely, for your own protection, we recommend that you send your package by

a signed Delivery service. Please note Royal Mail recorded delivery only insures the goods up to £39. It is recommended

packages be insured for full value of the product when shipping. Hillary’s Threads cannot be held responsible for

return packages lost or damaged in the post.

To be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

The products must be returned in a re-sellable condition: unworn, undamaged, unmarked, odor free with the original labels attached and in pristine condition, and each product in its original packaging. When trying on products please make sure you do not remove any tags nor wash before trying on and that you are not wearing anything which may in any way result in altered or damaged products. Return must include proof of purchase or receipt from www.HillarysThreads.com.

Refunds are not eligible for any product which is damaged as above or shows signs of wear.

ITEMS RETURNED BECAUSE THEY ARE DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT

If a product purchased online is faulty or incorrect, please notify us within 14 days of receipt and return the item in the same condition that it was sent out, including original packaging.

Please contact us prior to returning items at HillarysThreads@gmail.com so we may help facilitate the shipping of your return. Item must be received by seller within 14 days of notification of return.

PRIVACY & COOKIE POLICY

SECTION 1 - YOUR COLLECTED INFORMATION

When you purchase something from HillarysThreads.com, as part of the buying and selling process, personal information you provide us such as your name, address, phone number and email address is collected.

When you browse the HillarysThreads.com store, information is also collected to:

Name, Email Address, Shipping Address, Billing Address and Phone Number - We use these to be able to ship our products to you. In order to do this we have to pass on your Name, Email Address, Shipping Address and Phone Number to the shipping service and courier. This is so that they can deliver the products to you.

Name, Email Address, Phone Number - We may have to contact you about your order and we will do this by email or phone call and therefore we would use your details for this.

We do not hold your debit/credit card details as these are handled by Wix, Apple Pay and Stripe depending on payment method chosen.

If you have signed up for our shop updates then Wix collects your name and email and it is then used to only send out shop updates. You can opt-in to shop updates and can unsubscribe at any time by emailing HillarysThreads@gmail.com.

We do not pass your details onto any other third party with the exception of those mentioned above.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

When you provide Hillary’s Threads with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent.

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to

SECTION 4 – E-COMMERCE PLATFORM, PAYMENTS & ORDER PROCESSING

Hillary’s Threads store is hosted on Wix. They provide the online e-commerce platform that allows selling of Hillary’s Threads products. Your data is stored through Wix’s data storage, databases and the general Wix contact application.

Payment:
When making a payment to complete your purchase, Apple Pay or Wix stores your credit card data. Your purchase transaction data is stored to complete your purchase transaction. Hillary’s Threads does not have access to your credit card information at any time. All reasonable steps have been taken to provide a secure and compliant online store. However, HillarysThreads.com cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose online and we are dependent upon the security systems put in place by our host provider. You accept the inherent security risks of providing information and purchasing online over the Internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is demonstrated to be due to our negligence.
